August 16th

Today is National Tell A Joke Day,
so,
here goes...

Get it?
😆

and this....
Have you heard of Murphy's Law?
It goes like this,
if something can go wrong,
it usually will.
But,
have you heard of Cole's Law?

It's thinly sliced cabbage.

And lastly, this one
(because of the area code...)
😆
I'm assuming it's a brush up history
course concentrating on Henry VIII
in the 15th century?

Enough of that...

***************************

It's been raining every day
until yesterday.
The skies looked ominous,
but it never actually rained.

This picture was taken
August 8th when it was a
literal deluge.

So now it's back to watering the veggies.
The Cucuzza never produced anything.
The CEO experimented with a
different spot to plant it and although
it bloomed, nothing happened.

The cucumbers have also come
to the end of the blooming
cycle with no new flowers.

We'll try again next year.

The lonely Watermelon.
😢
It's about the size of a cabbage ball.

Japanese Eggplants.

Red Bell Peppers.

Artichoke.
It hasn't produced yet,
but we're hoping...

Today's harvest,
Jalapeno's, White Eggplants
and Japanese Eggplants.

Potatoes

Onions and Garlic.

Romaine Lettuce.

Rosemary, blooming.

Mint.

Lucy.

Ethel, in the coop.

Minew,
chowing down.

******************************

Marigolds and a Guardian Angel.

Cosmos with a Cherub.

Mandevilla

Gardenias

Begonias

Sanseveria, Caladium and Sweet Potato Plant

Sanseveria and Sweet Potato Plant.
The Caladium died in this container
because a squirrel dug it up.
Little shit!

Echeveria, blooming!
If you look closely,
there are 4 peachy colored flowers.

Echeveria leaves with babies.

 A heartfelt
"Thanks!"
to all who read
 this humble blog.
I hope that it gives you a smile.

💚💙
